German inverter manufacturer KACO new energy and the Turkish EPC Eko Renewable Energy Inc. (EkoRE) have signed a cooperation agreement. Their long-term collaboration is to begin with an 8-megawatt solar park in Aydin, in south-west Turkey, for which KACO new energy is to supply the inverters.

In the course of negotiations with EkoRE’s Chief Executive Officer, Serhan Süzer, KACO new energy Country Manager in Turkey, Nedret Ünlü, learned of TIDER (Temel İhtiyaç Derneği). The foundation is supported by EkoRE and aims to help people living under the poverty line and assist them in finding jobs. KACO new energy decided to also support TIDER: the foundation will receive a donation for each inverter supplied by KACO new energy as part of the contract for the solar park in Aydin. Furthermore, KACO new energy plans to continue to actively sponsor TIDER in the future.
