LONGi and ATC held the physical signing ceremony at the ATC headquarters, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), on the 6th of June.
LONGi's representatives at the ceremony included Mr. Chao Jia, President of MEA & Central Asia (CA) Region, Mr. Baggio Teng, Head of New Business Project Team, MEA & Central Asia (CA) Region, and Ms. Claire Zheng, KSA Country Manager.
Expressing his delight at the occasion, Chao Jia commented, “We are grateful for ATC's deep knowledge of the Kingdom's operational and environmental conditions and consider them a strategic partner in KSA. We are convinced that the company will portray LONGi's image in the best way possible. It is definite that with LONGi's commitment to customer value and ATC’s strong local connections, we can together scale new heights in the KSA region.”
LONGi recently won a contract to supply 406MW of its Hi-MO 5 bifacial modules to SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. for Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project. The project is located on the Kingdom's West Coast and will be completely powered by renewable energy on a scale that has never been achieved anywhere in the world. Energy will be generated via solar panels and wind turbines to meet the initial demand of 210MW, with further expansion planned.
The Red Sea Project is an important undertaking as part of Saudi Vision 2030. The completion of this project will bring a new way to live in the Middle East. With this project, LONGi has taken a giant step toward the region’s energy transformation.
LONGi is continuing to grow its presence in the KSA region. The signing of the distribution agreement with ATC is yet another significant step in LONGi’s journey to strengthen its dominance in the KSA and stay true to its mission of utilizing solar energy to build a green world.
