Nautilus Solar announces new 1.9 MW solar project

Nautilus Solar Energy has commenced engineering and construction of a 1.9 MW roof mounted, solar photovoltaic project located at 15710 San Antonio Avenue, Chino, California.

The project is scheduled to reach commercial operation in May 2012. Power generated from the project will be sold to Southern California Edison under a 20 year power purchase agreement.
“California is the largest solar market in the United States and we are excited to expand our portfolio in this very important market with the addition of the project at 15710 San Antonio Avenue in Chino,” said James Rice, CEO of Nautilus Solar.
“Our goal is to continue to grow our footprint in California by developing and acquiring high quality projects to help the State meets its Renewable Portfolio Standard.”
