novotegra GmbH: Winner of the iF Design Award 2022 – “Building Technology” Category 

The Tübingen-based mounting system manufacturer novotegra was awarded the iF Design Award 2022 in the category “Building Technology”. Novotegra convinced the jury with its mounting system for green roofs, which has been available on the market since April 2022.

The use of recycled plastic makes the PV system an even more sustainable solution. In contrast to conventional flat roof systems, high module supports ensure a greater distance between the module and the roof surface, thereby preventing the green roof from shading the modules.

The honeycomb base plates, which are also made of recycled plastic, are installed overlapping in a chequerboard pattern. novotegra for green roof thus offers a highly flexible solution that guarantees quick and easy installation of the substructure without measuring.

The overall very few components of the system also simplify storage and logistics.
