Scheuten Solar signs 10 MWs worth of EPC contracts in Belgium

This relates to so-called turnkey projects managed by Scheuten Solar from start to finish. These are primarily large-scale PV systems on industrial roofs with underlying EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) and O&M (Operation & Maintenance) contracts.

The installation of a large-scale PV system is partly based on commercial purposes. Furthermore, sustainable business practices are becoming ever more important for companies. Large cold-storage warehouses, logistics firms and companies in agriculture make up the lion’s share of the contracts Scheuten Solar has signed in Belgium. The installation of solar panels on unused roof surfaces spares the environment tonnes of CO2 emissions and knocks a considerable amount off energy bills.

"In recent years our team has implemented dozens of large-scale projects on the Belgian market," says Marco Iacovella, Sales Manager Projects Scheuten Solar. "As primary contractor, we start helping our partners think about things from as early as the preliminary stage and we coordinate the entire implementation process right up to completion. In addition to these things, our maintenance team is available 24/7 to remedy any faults immediately. Our solid track record of turnkey projects in Belgium has paved the way for this pipeline of new projects."
