SEMA to discuss US and global solar energy outlook

SEMA, the Solar Engineering & Manufacturing Association, will hold a meeting on September 22 at 5 p.m. in Milpitas, California, the U.S. featuring internationally recognized consultant Paula Mints, who will discuss the global photovoltaic (PV) technology outlook.

    The presentation will cover PV supply and demand, price and technology, and forecasts for the next five years. It also will cover opportunities and potential obstacles for the North American PV market as well as applications and forecasts through 2019.

    Mints is a director of Navigant Consulting’s Energy Practice and Principal Analyst for the Solar Services Market Research Program in Palo Alto, CA. She also serves as executive editor of the Solar Outlook Bimonthly Newsletter and the Concentrating Solar Quarterly Newsletter.
