Solar industry gears up for 9th edition of Solarex Istanbul

The SOLAREX ISTANBUL Fair, at Istanbul’s Expo Center, is getting ready to open its gates. The fair, which is going to host the professionals of the energy world, will be also a meeting point of solar energy sector from 7th to 9th April. The fair also offers possibility for the wide business connections via purchasing committee from the Ministry of Energy, as well as exhibition of products.
Solarex Istanbul Fair is hosting the leaders of solar energy industry from both home and abroad at its 9th edition.
Taking the pulse of the sector through exhibited products and events, SOLAREX ISTANBUL emerges to forefront as one of the most important meeting point of the sector in a crossroad where unites European and Asian region. The participants from both home and abroad are exhibiting their innovations at SOLAREX ISTANBUL.
In the framework of purchasing committee program which is managed in 14 countries by the Ministry of Economy, the firm officials from Afghanistan, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Greece is planned to join Solarex Istanbul having significant potential in order to let domestic and foreign industrialists reach the new markets. In addition, in the scope of Mideast Purchasing Committee which is managed by Voli Fair, the participants from MENA, the Middle East and North African countries, are coming together.
Over 300 participants and over 20 thousand visitors are expected to join Solarex Istanbul. Regarding filling up of Hall 9, 10 and 11; a tent hall is being installed on an area of 750 sq meters at entrance of the fair area. Solarex Istanbul, where the participant and leading firms of the solar energy sector will be also taking place at the tent hall, features a fairly intensive organization. At the fair, which is quite a striking fair for the markets of the Middle East and Asia, also the importance of clean energy is aimed to be delivered by the seminars scheduled for both participant firms and visitors.
Solarex Istanbul Fair also takes place in the scope of national fairs which are subsidized by Izmir Chamber of Commerce. The officials of Solarex Istanbul Fair specify that acceleration of investments in solar energy in Turkey and expectations related to this have surged the importance of the fair. The officials have also highlighted developments in the surrounding countries had brought Solarex Istanbul into an important position in terms of the global solar players. Recording the works of Solarex 2016 had started earlier, the officials emphasized that the interest in the fair was high and the sales of stands have been completed. The sensitivity in the aspect of importance of renewable energy resources has increased in both public bodies and private sector in recent years. As both the number and dimension of renewable energy investments are gradually increasing, also events directed towards the sector are emerging to the forefront.

The fair, is being held at the Halls 9 – 10 – 11 and tent hall 12, will be hosting its visitors from home and abroad during 3 days. As 163 ones from home and 91 abroad, totally 254 firms participated in the last year’s edition. The participants and visitors totally from 17 countries like Germany, France, the USA, UAE, Bulgaria, China, Morocco, the UK, Span, Israel, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania and Taiwan took place at the last year’s edition of Solarex Istanbul. Hosting the number of 18 thousand 731 people from home and abroad, Solarex Istanbul 2015 has staged lots of firms’ merging, setting up new business partnerships as well as inking of significant agreements.
