It is hoped the solar plant, which will cover 12 hectares, will generate around 15,500 MWh a year, providing energy for 7,400 homes and avoiding 10,385 tons of atmospheric CO2 emissions a year.

Celsia Solar Bolivar, the second plant of this size in the country, will be developed by the Celsia subsidiary Epsa and will be equipped with 32,000 photovoltaic modules. It will lead to the creation of approximately 120 jobs.

This is Solarpack’s first project in Colombia and its completion is scheduled for October.
