Solbian uses Amcor’s new ECTFE solar frontsheets to create solar panels for boat decks, strong enough to be walked on

Amcor’s new high performance ECTFE solar frontsheet film will appear at METS in Amsterdam, the world’s largest trade show for the international marine leisure industry.

Solbian, a customer of Amcor, will display SolbianflexSM, a solar panel for boat decks that uses Amcor’s innovative, textured frontsheets.
The SolbianflexSM panels are designed to be applied directly onto boat decks and must stand up to harsh marine conditions as well as allow people to walk directly over the panels.
With Amcor’s frontsheet, the panels are scratch resistant, impact resistant, lightweight, have an anti-slip texture, and provide excellent light transmission.
