Why Solis are so popular in the world? And what is their innovation for? Desheng Lei, Solis country manager in Brazil said ‘We Believe the most important things are the quality and reliability, and they are always the core of our innovations’.
What is Solis innovation for?
Innovation for clients. Solis has many successful experiences in the United States, Europe and many other countries. ‘Solis are successful because we are close to the clients, and we know what the clients need’, said by Lei. ‘For instance, we are one of the earliest inverter’s suppliers offer 7-10kw single phase inverters with 3 MPPTs in Brazil, and also, we are the one of the companies who firstly offer three phase inverters with 220V output in Brazil’. Lei also introduced that Solis always put more protection solutions in the inverter, like DPS, AFCI (prevent arc), etc. For the technical support, Lei said ’we built our technical support team and repair centers in Brazil to locally support the clients and forward their requirements to our inverter development team in China, from this, we can quickly response the clients request and even we can change the design of the inverter!’
Innovation for partners. Lei said ‘Firstly, we can offer more than 35 models to Brazilian market, the inverters powers are from 700W to 255kW, it will be easy for the partners to choose’. For single phase, Solis can offer from 700W to 10kW. For three phase Solis has solutions from 10kW to 110kW in Brazil. ‘Solis three phase inverters always has more MPPTs than others, the inverter will be safer in the DC site and has more protections like overvoltage and overcurrent’ emphasized by Lei. For utilities scales, Solis has 1500V solutions of 125kw and 255kw, and by far, there already been more than 100MW of our 1500V inverter system were installed in Brazil. ‘Secondly, training is very important in Brazil because the solar market is very new, as a manufacture, we need to teach clients how to choose and use a suitable equipment, Solis offer several levels of trainings to all of our partners in Brazil’, said by Lei. Lei also introduced that Solis is working hard on the construction of the marketing structures ‘we have a strong partnership with Aranda, Intersolar and other channels, we also built our Portuguese social medias for Brazilian market, we share many acknowledges about solar system to help our partners grow up with Solis’.
Innovation for quality and reliability. As we know, solar inverter is the core equipment of a solar system, a solar system can work more than 25 years, in this case, it is important to choose a reliable brand of equipment. In this part, Lei tell us that Solis inverter are with 100% of famous brand of components, Solis is the first solar inverter company passed the PVEL (the former of DNV-GL) reliability test in the USA and Solis won the TÜV Rheinland ‘All Quality Matter' Award for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2020. ‘With our innovation and patents, all Solis inverters been offered in Brazil support at least 50% overload, Solis 75Kw inverter can even support 70% overload, Solis 255kW is one of the biggest solar string inverters in the world, it has a strong performance at higher temperature, it can generate 10% more energy at 50 degrees’, said by Lei.
Innovations for Future and More. For the future innovation, Lei said Solis is committed to bring more renewable energy solutions to Brazil and the world. ‘We will bring our new hybrid system and off-grid system to Brazil. Meanwhile, Solis Cloud system will soon come to Brazil in 2021, it can help the inverter to be more intelligence and smart, it also can expend more applications with IOT, Big data, etc. In short, Solis would like to become an overall renewable energy management solution supplier to our global clients’.
