Today's shareholders' meeting at Solutronic AG saw Dr. Andreas Leimbach and Dr. Werner Brinker voted in as new members of the company's Supervisory Board.

With the arrival of Dr. Leimbach, a former member of the Board of Management of Dresdner Bank AG and IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, the Supervisory Board has gained the services of a renowned financial and capital markets expert.

Dr. Leimbach was active in the banking industry for over 20 years and is today Managing Director of SolarKapital GmbH, a financial investor focused on the solar sector. He has also been working as a consultant for some years. As such, he embodies the perfect combination of management, finance and industry expertise.

Dr. Werner Brinker is CEO of EWE AG, Germany's fifth-largest utility company, and enjoys more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry. EWE AG was exceedingly quick to invest in the generation of heat and electricity from renewable energy sources as well as telecommunication and IT services and has a great deal of know-how in these sectors and an excellent reputation industry-wide. Dr. Brinker boasts a profound knowledge and understanding of the industry and distinct strategic expertise.

Sibylle Scheuerle-Kraiss decided not to seek re-election. Likewise, Georg Kiefer withdrew his candidacy in favour of Dr. Brinker, after the latter had expressed his willingness to stand. The Board of Management and Supervisory Board of Solutronic AG would like to thank Ms Scheuerle-Kraiss and Mr Kiefer for their commitment and contribution to the work of the Supervisory Board.

The newly elected Supervisory Board, comprising Mr Kaupp, Dr. Leimbach and Dr. Brinker, is now an extraordinarily competent team of experts, extremely capable of fulfilling its monitoring and advisory role.
