A third of the 17 MW solar array is now completed. The installation is expected to cover around 17% of the theme park’s electricity needs. Final completion is scheduled for 2023.

Australia’s Macquarie is leading a consortium that has reportedly tabled a €2.5 billion ($2.7 billion) bid for a clean energy business formed by French private equity houses InfraVia and Eurazeo.

Salzgitter has claimed a record efficiency level for its EU-funded GrInHy2.0 hydrogen project, which is based on solid oxide electrolysis cell tech. The high-temperature electrolyzer uses waste heat from the company’s steel production processes.

French solar company TSE has developed an agrivoltaic rotating canopy that allows large agricultural machinery to move under the panels. The solution consists of a rotating structure that can host bifacial solar modules at a height of more than 5.5 meters, with a four-post structure measuring 27 m x 11 m.

French chemical company Axcentive and solar module manufacturer Photowatt have developed a PV panel coating based on photoactive nanotechnology. The coating relies on a super-hydrophilic surface that makes the water spread out on the module surface immediately, thus avoiding light scattering effects upon rain.

The autonomous system is designed for small companies that produce milk, juice, beverages, or food products, it and can reach four degrees Celsius in three hours with an external temperature of 30 degrees.

The PowerPark carport is equipped with 5.6kW of monocrystalline modules and one or more WallBox charging stations for hybrid or electric vehicles. French company Aterno is selling the system, starting from €19,900 – excluding VAT – depending on the project configuration.

According to the new provisions introduced by the French government, owners of PV systems with a capacity of up to 500 kW will pay a grid fee that is 40% of the current rate. As for heat pumps, their owners will pay only 20% of the fee.
