SunHydrogen has provided a first look at the prototype design for its forthcoming nanoparticle-based green hydrogen technology, and Plug Power has secured a 5 MW electrolyzer order from Lhyfe. A Chinese-US research group, meanwhile, claims to have achieved a highly stable saline water electrolysis using Rhodium nanocrystals.

Reliance Industries is set to buy 79.4% of US-based SenseHawk, which provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for process optimization, automation, and asset information management across the solar asset lifecycle.

China’s Arctech has opened a 3 GW solar tracker factory in India that will produce all of the major components of its solar tracker products.

Reliance Industries says that production will begin at its 10 GW factory for solar cells and modules by 2024. It plans to double the facility’s capacity to 20 GW by 2026 and is aiming for 50 GWh of annual cell-to-pack battery capacity by 2027.

JSW Energy, a private-sector power producer, will set up 1 GWh of standalone, grid-connected battery energy storage projects on a build-own-operate-transfer basis in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Ravi Verma, senior executive vice president of Avaada, told pv magazine that the group will invest $5 billion in an integrated green hydrogen and ammonia plant with 6 GW of captive renewables capacity. The green ammonia facility will have a production capacity of 1 million tons per year.

State-owned NHPC and Bharat Electronics Ltd will leverage their complementary strengths to set up a gigawatt-scale vertically integrated solar manufacturing unit.
