EU freezes minimum import price at China’s request

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce had proposed not to the change the conditions of the minimum price agreement until the end of the interim review. Brussels has now accepted this proposal. In doing so, the European Commission has maintained the minimum import price for Chinese solar modules at €0.46/W.

EU member states vote for 18-month extension to anti-dumping measures

The European Commission’s proposal to extend the anti-dumping measures for Chinese PV manufacturers by a year and a half has been put to the mediation committee. The final decision will be published on 4th March. A proposal to extend the measures by only 12 months also failed in the Appeals Committee.

Confirmed: European Commission to propose shorter AD tariff on Chinese solar firms

European Commission VP Frans Timmermans says new 18 month tariff period proposal will be put to the 28 EU Member States later this month. SolarPower Europe says move goes in right direction, but could go further.
