Tracker and mounting structure supplier Arctech Solar recently presented its new products at Intersolar Europe in Munich. pv magazine dropped by the its display on the trade show floor to talk to the company’s executives about bifacial technology and tracking systems.

Scatec Solar has connected the next part of its 400 MW tracking and bifacial PV plant to the grid in Egypt’s Benban complex. The entire project is set to fully come online throughout the second half of the year. Meanwhile, the company has also secured additional funding for a 33 MW solar project in Mali.

Across the value chain, rising demand is causing stockpiles to dwindle and utilization rates to rise. Prices are rising in China as well as for high-efficiency products. Module prices have stabilized.
