Sunova Solar announces 9 GW cell factory in China
Sunova Solar’s new cell manufacturing facility produces 182 mm, 199 mm and 210 mm TOPCon cells. At full capacity, the facility is expected to produce approximately 36,000 high-efficiency modules per day.
Canadian Solar launches 700 W bifacial TOPCon solar modules
Canadian Solar is offering six versions of its 132-cell TOPBiHiKu7 solar modules, with power outputs ranging from 675 W to 700 W and efficiencies ranging from 21.7% to 22.5%. They have an efficiency range of 26.1% to 27.0%, with a bifacial gain of 20%.
DMEGC unveils 570-580 W TOPCon solar module series
DMEGC Solar says its new tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar panels combine a double-glass design with half-cut n-type cell technology. It says the efficiency ratings range from 22.07% to 22.45%.
Hanersun releases 695 W TOPCon solar module with 22.37% efficiency rating
China’s Hanersun has unveiled its HItouch 6N module series, which is based on n-type TOPCon tech, 210 mm wafers, and half-cut cells. The monofacial and bifacial modules feature power outputs ranging from 605 W to 695 W and efficiency ratings of 21.38% to 22.37%.
Trina Solar begins mass production of 425 W bifacial glass-glass module
The Chinese PV manufacturer uses TOPCon half cells for the modules. The additional rear side yield is estimated by Trina at 5-30%.
