The French government allocated 57 MW of PV capacity across 47 projects through the tender. Réunion and Guadeloupe were the territories with the largest allocated capacities.
The project is in Giuncaggio, in the northeastern part of the French island, and was built with Tesla Powerpack batteries, a Nidec power management system and a new power management device from the project’s developer Corsica Sole.
A new decree sets feed-in tariffs for PV installations up to 100 kW in Corsica, Guadeloupe, French Guyana, Martinique, Mayotte, and La Réunion.
