Irish ESB to add 100 MWh of Fluence storage to its portfolio

State-owned utility ESB is working with energy storage solution company Fluence and EPC service providers Powercomm Group and Kirby Group on its first battery projects in Ireland.

Innogy announces 60 MW storage project in Ireland

Several large utility-scale storage projects have already been developed under Ireland’s DS3 program. Innogy says that it now plans to look for more storage project possibilities in the country.

NEC Energy Solutions to build 100 MW of storage capacity in Northern Ireland

The company will provide two 50 MW systems for investor the Gore Street Energy Storage Fund and project developer Low Carbon. The projects will be completed by the first quarter of 2021.
