Corre Energy, a Dutch long-duration energy storage specialist, has partnered with utility Eneco to deliver its first compressed air energy storage (CAES) project in Germany. Eneco will acquire 50% of the project.

Eneco to build 50 MW/200 MWh project in Belgium

Dutch utility Eneco has announced plans to build a 50 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage installation in Wallonia, Belgium, using Tesla Megapacks. The battery plant will offer four hours of storage.

Wartsila to supply Netherlands’ largest battery

The 25MW/48MWh battery will be the country’s largest energy storage system to date. The project is touted as the first large-scale battery project based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry in Europe.

Belgium’s largest PV rooftop commissioned by ArcelorMittal
