Canadian Solar to build 80.6 MW power plant in Brazil
Canadian Solar today announced the acquisition of an 80.6 MW PV project to be located in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The project received a 20-year PPA in Brazil’s second reserve auction, and will sell power to the Electrical Energy Commercialization Chamber.
GCL to supply modules to IBC Solar
German based PV systems provider IBC Solar has announced a partnership deal with solar manufacturing giant GCL System Integration Technology. The first modules supplied by GCL are expected to be delivered in September.
SunPower & First Solar to supply projects in France
SunPower has announced that it will supply 64.4 MW of its high efficiency E-Series solar panels to seven PV power plants in France. Meanwhile, First Solar has announced that it will supply 106.5 MW of its thin film modules to power 14 power plants under the third round of procurement initiated by France’s Energy Regulatory Commission.
