Two more PPAs for Spanish solar plants

Solaria secured a ten-year deal to supply solar power from a 150 MW of generation capacity this week and a Sino-Israeli consortium signed a deal to supply energy from 50 MW of capacity over the same term.

Galp to buy ACS solar assets for €2.2 billion – enough to rebuild Real Madrid

Portuguese gas company Galp Energía says it will become “the largest solar energy company in the Iberian peninsula”. The agreement includes operating PV plants with an installed generation capacity of 900 MW plus a further 2.9 GW under development.

Solaria gets grid connection approval for 450 MW solar park in Spain

The project will be built near the Trillo substation, in the Castilla–La Mancha region and represents around 15% of the 3.3 GW solar project pipeline the company hopes to deploy in Iberia by the end of 2023.
