Malaysia releases net metering guidelines
The Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) has published guidelines for the new net metering scheme the Malaysian authorities launched in January 2016 to replace the feed-in tariff (FIT) scheme, which will close at the end of this year.
Malaysian PV investment hits $544 million in 2016
The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) approved 2.42 billion ringgit ($544 million) of solar investments in the 12 months to the end of December.
