With a background in broadcast journalism for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Deutsche Welle and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Jonathan has been reporting on environmental and technology issues since 2005. He has been with pv magazine since 2011.

U.K.-born Mark Hutchins joined pv magazine as production editor for our monthly global title in September 2016. He also reports on upstream technology and markets, and new and emerging solar regions for both print and online. Mark has experience in copywriting, music journalism and the fast-paced world of startups.

Emiliano joined pv magazine in March 2017. He has been reporting on solar and renewable energy since 2009. Emiliano writes stories for our daily news sections and is responsible for coverage of the EMEA region and Latin American markets. Emiliano also covers topics such as new technology, R&D, installations and financials. Previously, he built up vast experience as a journalist in the fields of EdTech and new language technologies.

Max worked for pv magazine between 2012 and 2015 on a part-time basis, and returned to the fold full-time in July 2018. An old-school print journalist, he has also worked in environmental consultancy, education, local government, infrastructure, aerospace, forensic science and sport. He regularly moonlights as a football writer and lives in Genoa, Italy.
Marija has years of experience in a news agency environment and writing for print and web editions. She has a keen interest in renewables and has been with pv magazine since March 2017, assisting primarily with online coverage for pv magazine Australia and International; and magazine production and features.
