Hitachi launches CO2 heat pump water heaters with solar-friendly tariff controls
Hitachi has introduced its Y-series EcoCute CO2 heat pump water heaters in Japan, with 370-liter and 460-liter models set to launch from November 2026.
The upgraded range adds expanded support for daytime electricity tariffs and PV-linked energy management, alongside a five-year manufacturer warranty.

Alpitronic unveils 1 MW EV charging system
Italian charging infrastructure manufacturer Alpitronic has developed a 1 MW distributed DC charging system capable of serving up to eight electric vehicles simultaneously. At a demonstration in Berlin, the system delivered more than 600 kW to the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé.

Hinen launches 13.68 kWh residential energy storage system
Hinen’s A15 residential energy storage system combines 3.6 kW to 15 kW hybrid inverters with 14.4 kWh LFP battery modules, each offering 13.68 kWh of usable capacity. Up to six batteries can be connected in parallel for 86.4 kWh nominal and 82.08 kWh usable capacity, with more than 8,000 cycles, IP65 protection and a 12-year warranty.
MRCool releases inverter heat pump for recreational vehicles
MRCool has launched a rooftop air-source heat pump for recreational vehicles, featuring DC inverter technology and both ducted and ductless configurations. The 115 V system can operate in off-grid setups, including RV electrical systems supplied by PV and battery storage.
Brazilian water tank maker presents new floating PV solution
Fortlev Solar has presented Aquafort, a modular HDPE floating PV system for reservoirs, lakes, ponds and dams, at Intersolar South America 2026. The system supports M10 and M12 modules, features dedicated maintenance floats, and has a stated 25-year service life.
