Australian home battery installations are spiking thanks to a generous new federal government subsidy scheme. If the current pace holds, analyst Sunwiz predicts Australia will install over 220,000 home batteries in the next 12 months – more than triple the record set in 2024.

This marks a huge opportunity – but to make the most of the influx, Australian battery installers and retailers will need to understand what really matters to customers and how to effectively address pain points.
