European solar shows no sign of slowing down. With a record-breaking year behind us, 2023 is shaping up to be even bigger in the face of heightened energy security concerns. Meanwhile, innovation on the technology front continues at breakneck speed. High-power and high-current PV modules are becoming the norm at utility-scale and power electronics is keeping up the pace.

In this pv magazine Webinar, we will investigate European utility-scale PV market and technology trends. Alvaro Zanón, EMEA technical director for utility-scale projects at GoodWe, and David Sanchez, EMEA sales director for utility & large-scale projects at GoodWe, will offer insights from the perspective of a big market player. They will go into detail and discuss the company’s GW250HT inverter, MV solution, service approach, and digitalization.

Further insights into energy market trends in Europe will be provided by Ryan Alexander, Research Lead for European power markets at Aurora Energy Research. And we’ll also host a fireside chat with Dr.Peijun Shen, senior manager of product marketing from Longi, to reflect on trends in module technology and changes they induce in power electronics.

The second half of this 1.5-hour webinar will feature a panel discussion on the LCOE value proposition of different string inverter technologies. Here we will also hear from Felix Jetter, team leader power plant engineering at BayWa r.e., Alberto Campayo Atienzar, head of operations at Prosolia Energy, and Nitish Sinha, project engineer and inverter specialist at Ecorus, who will provide details from the viewpoint of leading European EPCs.

We encourage you to take part in the discussion and ask questions, which can be submitted beforehand or through a chat window during the webinar. pv magazine Global editors Marija Maisch and Mark Hutchins will be the moderators of this webinar.

Registration for this pv magazine Webinar is free of charge.
