Leading the AC Revolution: ATMOCE Celebrates Innovation, Partnership, and the Next Generation of Energy at Intersolar Europe 2026
At the center of the evening was a keynote address by Giorgio Chen, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of ATMOCE Group. Drawing on 25 years of experience in power electronics and renewable energy, Giorgio reflected on one of the industry’s most significant transformations: the move toward greater scale and affordability. He then explained why the industry’s next chapter must address two fundamental challenges—the lifetime mismatch across solar and storage systems, and the safety and complexity risks associated with conventional high-voltage architectures.
“For two decades, our industry focused on making solar more affordable—and we succeeded. But the next generation of energy systems must go further: they must be
inherently safer, last longer, and deliver greater value over their entire lifetime,” said Giorgio. “This is what we mean by Absolute Safety and Ultimate LCOE. Absolute Safety begins with an Extra-Low voltage AC architecture, while Ultimate LCOE begins with designing the entire system to last. That is why ATMOCE is building around a 25-year system lifetime.”
Giorgio connected this vision to three innovations introduced at the show: the MS-8K-U PRO, an 8 kWh residential battery developed alongside E.ON that completes the industry’s first 25-Year Residential Solar & Storage System; ATMOCE’s Grid-to-Module Active Snow Removal technology, presented with LONGi Solar; and BattBank, the world’s first Extra-Low Voltage AC Stackable C&I Battery.
Together, these solutions demonstrate how a common ELV AC Architecture can deliver long-term value, inherent safety, and flexible scalability across residential and commercial applications.
The evening also featured partner success stories from Matthias Meir, CEO of Wevolt, and Bogdan Antal, B2C Senior Product Manager at E.ON Romania, who shared successful practices and real-world project cases from their collaborations with ATMOCE. Xavier Daval, Founder of KiloWattsol, officially launched the white paper Flexible Storage for Industrial Operations: Independent Technical Perspective on ATMOCE’s BattBank Architecture, presenting an independent technical assessment of BattBank and its value for industrial energy storage applications.
Another highlight was the ATMOCE Annual Partner Awards Ceremony, recognizing distributors, installers, and project partners for excellence in project delivery, customer value creation, and the deployment of innovative energy solutions across Europe.
The keynote concluded with ATMOCE Rise, an AI-generated audiovisual tribute to the company’s partners and the future they are building together.
The Gala Dinner underscored a central message from Giorgio’s keynote: technology alone cannot transform an industry. Progress depends on an ecosystem of innovators, distributors, installers, and customers turning ideas into real-world impact.
“No one changes an industry alone,” Giorgio said. “We succeed only when our partners succeed. Together, we are building the next energy era.”
