In this pv magazine Webinar we will examine nonconformities reported during the PV module manufacturing process. We will define manufacturing nonconformities, analyze which ones are frequently found in production, and investigate on their distribution along the manufacturing line.

Our speakers, Adrien Pellarin, Head of technology at Senergy Technical Services (STS) and Carlos Sánchez, Quality manager at SOLARPACK will provide insights on its detection process and survey the ways to mitigate risks. The presentation will walk through an STS case study on nonconformities.

Attendees will walk away from the webinar with an improved understanding of the main issues in PV modules manufacturing at each step of the line and a classification of their severity.

pv magazine Webinar content:

  • Definition of manufacturing nonconformity and classification per type and severity
  • New nonconformities due to technology changes (e.g. PV cells design, encapsulation issues)
  • Recommendations to reduce nonconformity related risks
  • Q&A

Questions can be submitted beforehand in the comments window when registering or in the chat during the live webinar. Ryan Kennedy, editor at pv magazine USA, will be the moderator of this webinar.

Registration for this pv magazine Webinar is free of charge.
