Trina TOPCon modules undergoing UL assessments

In this pv magazine Webinar, Trina Solar will present its own TOPCon Vertex N solar module technology and the results of a recent tests conducted by US-based independent safety science company Underwriters Laboratories UL. In this pv magazine Webinar, Trina Solar will present its own TOPCon Vertex N solar module technology and the results of a recent tests conducted by US-based independent safety science company Underwriters Laboratories UL. Experts from the Chinese manufacturer and the certification body will discuss a case study of an independent LCOE assessment of the Vertex N 700W+ modules in Brazil and Germany.

Adopting the upgraded 210mm n-type i-TOPCon technology, Vertex N 700W+modules have a maximum power conversion efficiency of up to 23.2% and a maximum power output of 720 W. Based on the latest cell technology, Trina Solar, however, recently announced its 210mm n-type i-TOPCon module has reached a world-record lab power output of 740 W, a result that was certified Germany’s TÜV SUD.

Matheus Rodrigues, head of product solution & marketing at Trina Solar, will present the details of Trina Solar’s upgraded n-type i-TOPCon technology and Shaily Milany, solar lead at UL Solutions, will discuss Trina Solar’s levelized cost of energy (LCOE) assessment of the Vertex N 700W+module.
