Variables to consider in solar module procurement

While module procurement decisions in the past several years have largely been dictated by price, shifting dynamics in the industry are changing that. Factors such as supply chain reliability and traceability, changes in module technologies, and extreme weather events are shifting the decision-making processes for purchasers. In this pv magazine webinar, we will review these factors and others to consider when making a purchase.

The PV market is dynamic, and it’s critical that buyers keep up with the changing environment in order to maximize performance and reduce risk. Supply chain experts from CEA, Paul Wormser, vice president, technology, and Brian Hansen, associate director, will cover the variables that should be considered to reduce risks when purchasing modules in today’s supply chain.

pv magazine Webinar content:

  • Review of the factors changing the module procurement landscape
  • Develop an understanding of the risks and benefits of different procurement strategies
  • Q&A

Questions can be submitted beforehand in the comments window when registering or in the chat during the live webinar. Ryan Kennedy, editor at pv magazine USA, will be the moderator of this webinar.
