Sky Solar completes 70 MW Greek PV park

Sky Solar Holdings Co., Ltd has completed and grid connected a 70 MW photovoltaic park in Greece. A 20 year FIT has been secured.

The Chinese photovoltaic company completed the project in two stages. The first, 40 MW plant was finished and grid connected on January 28, while the second, 30 MW plant was commissioned on March 12.
Sky Solar secured a 20 year FIT and says an electricity price of between €0.29/kWh and €0.44/kWh has been agreed upon.
“The Greek renewable energy market still has great potential, and Sky Solar will continue to strengthen the investment and operation & maintenance in renewable energy power projects in Greece,” stated Weili Su, Sky Solar chairman.
No further details were released and the company could not be immediately contacted for comment.
