Reaching the ambitions renewable energy targets set for  2030 will require a strategy that not only promotes the expansion of our photovoltaic capacity but also enhances and protects the existing stock. The conference will offer the various actors in the entire value chain an opportunity to compare notes on how coming technologies and best practices will shape the design of the plants of the future. It will also consider the technological advances set to reconfigure the management, maintenance and security protocols used for the solar power facilities of today and tomorrow.

The discussion will be opened by a presentation from an electricity distribution company. The conference participants will be looking at the latest innovations in smart grid management, giving presentations of technological solutions, such as electrochemical storage systems and power generation from renewable sources.

ANIE Energia will present the results of a White Paper on smart grids co-authored with RSE. The presentation of the paper will provide an appropriate occasion to propose a cost-benefit analysis of the technology use in order to make smarter the electricity grid.

The final talk will be on the technical and legislative frameworks currently under discussion at the European level.

Energy transition is proceeding at a fast pace in Europe.
