Dowell Technology has announced the release of its new battery pack, the iPack 5.6KWh, an advance on the already best-selling iPack 4KWh and 8KWh models.

The new unit has LFP (low frequency power) battery technology, which gives it a longer service life.

Each pack has been designed to be light and flexible for ease of installation and maintenance. The units have a unique control strategy that uses Dowell proprietary technology, ensuring the pack achieves optimal energy configuration.

Cooled by natural convection, the pack is silent when operating and, as with all Dowell products, is reliable, efficient and safe.

The new unit will form part of the iPower retrofit storage system and will also be available as a standalone item.

Dowell’s main business is system integration for energy storage systems and batteries are a main component. Improving performance is something the company’s engineers are always working on.

Li Long, general manager of Dowell’s battery division, said: “This unit improves on what was already a very popular product and we expect it to be even more successful. We continue to advance battery storage technology to give even more value for money to our customers.”
