Fronius International GmbH has announced it sold the first two Energy Cells in the 4 KW power category in June.

Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. has received a contract for engineering and implementing production tooling for the Fisker Karma solar photovoltaic (PV) roof module. Under the contract, Quantum and its German solar affiliate Asola Advanced and Automotive Solar Systems GmbH will design and procure production tooling to enable production of solar roof modules beginning in the fourth quarter of this year.

Next year’s European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) will be held in Hamburg, Germany. The event will be hosted by the CCH – Congress Centre and International Fair Hamburg: the conference will run from 5 – 9 September 2011, whilst the exhibition is set to be held from 5 – 8 September 2011.
