Soltec, a leading manufacturer and supplier of single-axis solar photovoltaic tracking equipment, ranks first place among renewable energy companies in the Financial Times 1000 list of Europe’s highest growth companies. With a staggering revenue growth rate of 778 percent between 2012 and 2015, Soltec earned 147th place on this prestigious list.

The 2017 FT 1000 list compares revenue growth and compound annual growth rates from 2012 to 2015. Soltec ranked fifth of all 29 energy companies on the list, and first among the seven renewable energy companies. Soltec is the only tracking supplier among the list’s four solar companies.

“Our record-breaking growth over the past few years is a testament to the dedication of Soltec’s global team,” said Soltec CEO Raúl Morales. “We are proud to be the number one solar company on the FT 1000. These results speak to our culture of innovation and technical leadership.”

In 2016, Soltec’s cost-effective solar tracker equipment and related services reached annual sales of more than 1 GW in the Americas. Soltec’s 2.5 GW production capacity and 450 MW annual shipments add to the company’s already solid 1.5 GW global track record.

The FT 1000 recognizes the innovative companies that are a driving force behind Europe’s economy in the 21st century, generating high-wage jobs and sustaining competitiveness.
