TBEA Xi’an Electric Technology Showcases Grid-Ready Solar and Storage Solutions for the European Market at Intersolar Europe
The company showcased a portfolio covering utility-scale PV plants, grid-forming energy storage, commercial and industrial PV-storage applications, residential energy solutions and power quality equipment. The solutions are designed to support different application scenarios across Europe, from large renewable energy projects to distributed energy use by businesses and households.
At the core of the exhibition was its string-based energy storage system solution. The TE10000KT-EL grid-forming string PCS and MV Station integrated unit serves as key AC-side equipment for energy storage systems. With grid-forming control technology, it is designed to actively support grid voltage and frequency stability, helping address technical requirements associated with high shares of renewable energy.
The TE435/392K-HV liquid-cooled string PCS, integrated into the TM-S6250 AC/DC energy storage solution, is supported by the PowerHUB 3.0 high-speed control platform. The system adopts liquid cooling, fiber-based high-speed control communication and intelligent switching between grid-following and grid-forming modes. It is intended to support applications such as output smoothing, peak-valley regulation, frequency regulation and voltage support.
For utility-scale PV applications, the company presented the TS550KTL-HV-C1 high-power string inverter. Designed for large PV plants and complex outdoor environments, the product has a rated output of 500kW and a peak output of 550kW. It supports 5MW and 5.5MW PV block designs and adopts a 1600Vdc / 1000Vac high-voltage platform to help reduce initial project investment. The inverter uses SiC power devices, supports operation from -40°C to 70°C, and is designed for operation at altitudes up to 5,000 metres without derating.
