Tenesol will highlight the growing importance of Italy in the global photovoltaic (PV) sector, its popular ‘flat-pack’ solar PV kits and its extensive experience as an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor at the event, which will take place May 9-11.

Tenesol will present a selection of its global offerings at the event, from its technical and financial services to its work as an EPC contractor and module supplier, all of which is based on more than 28 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, installing and maintaining solar systems.

Tenesol’s exhibit at Solarexpo will include some of its latest PV innovations, including:

‘Flat-pack’ PV: PV Kits are among Tenesol’s most popular products, with more than 30,000 sold worldwide. Based on a ‘flat-pack’ PV concept, they contain all necessary materials and components for an installer to build a small-scale PV system. This reduces the complex sourcing of components to a simple one-box solution and allows even small installers to create a solar system with ease. The kits can suit a range of power outputs. Additional services, including technical engineering, financial support and marketing actions, can also be provided. The full capabilities of the kit will be showcased at the event.

New Module Frame: Tenesol has worked with an industrial design firm to produce a new frame for its PV modules that is more aesthetically pleasing and 400 grams lighter. It also features a new fixing flange to make installation even more flexible.

Monitoring: With its TotalSolar Xpert and MyTotalSolar monitoring systems for commercial and residential customers, Tenesol is perfectly placed to provide simple and efficient means of remotely managing its PV installations through a dedicated web-based platform.

Claude Escala, European director at Tenesol, will attend Solarexpo. “New installed capacity reached a record high in Italy in 2011 and the Italian market is expected to reach grid parity in 2013 – all of which makes 2012 a very interesting time for the industry,” Escala explains. “Rooftop systems are leading demand while our complete offer, from BAPV to BIPV, is proving very beneficial in meeting customers’ expectations.”

Tenesol’s 48m2 stand will be located in Hall 5 – Booth A5.1 at Solarexpo 2012. A selection of company representatives will be on hand to meet with visitors and discuss how it can help deliver their solar needs.

Solarexpo is the largest renewable energy trade fair in Italy. More than 1,000 exhibitors are expected to take part.
