THE NEW 86 MWp ORADEA PROJECT INCREASED THE PORTFOLIO OF INTEC & CHINT PARTNERSHIP IN ROMANIA TO 240 MWp

INTEC Energy Solutions (INTEC) is pleased to announce a continued partnership with CHINT Solar (CHINT) – a global provider of smart energy solutions- to provide EPC and O&M services for the new 86 MWp solar project in Oradea, Romania, for Econergy – company which develops, owns and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Including Romania’s largest solar power plant project, 154 MWp Ratesti and this new project in Oradea with 86 MWp, the portfolio of INTEC&CHINT partnership in Romania has grown up to 240 MWp.

INTEC’s competencies in the provision of comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, and its Operation and Maintenance (O&M) capabilities with CHINT’s solar energy solutions will contribute to Romania’s solar market which is expected to see significant growth in the coming years. Construction of the Oradea project will start in the following months at the project site and the completion is scheduled for the second half of 2023. To support Econergy’s long-term sustainable renewable development goals, INTEC and CHINT will bring their in-house capabilities to start work on the project site and will deliver the plant on time to the highest quality standards. As soon as commissioned, it is expected to generate 109.8 GWh per year that meet the energy demand from more than 64818 households. The estimated yearly CO2 reduction is 73  thousand tons.
