Photovoltaic module manufacturer WINAICO carries a new storage system in the line of goods from now on. Core of the WINAICO EnergyStorage is a high-tech battery cell on the basis of the Kolibri solid state technology. It is characterised especially by its high volumic energy and high security. Thanks to the unique cells and the innovative adjustment of all components an overall battery efficiency of up to 97 % was reached.

In addition to the high capacity the WINAICO EnergyStorage also convinces by its long service life: within their life expectancy of more than 20 years the systems reach more than 5000 full load cycles with a residual capacity of 80 %.
With the objective of maximum security of supply or feeding, the WINAICO EnergyStorage settles automatically, permanently and in real-time the current load between grid and consumer and decouples thereby the power generation completely from the consumption (bidirectional management).
The WINAICO EnergyStorage systems are available in the power classes 6, 9, 10, 21 and 42 kWh as standard products. Every system is suitable for a three-phase and uninterruptible power supply. Already existing PV systems can be arbitrarily refitted with the WINAICO EnergyStorage; an extension of the storage capacity is nearly unlimited possible.
Another advantage is the eco-friendly and resource-saving production of the cells: Neither noble earths nor dangerous mixtures that could outgas are used. This permits the complete recycling of the systems at the end of their service lifes. The new energy storage systems can be ordered from now on.
