Banking on solar

Moderated by pv magazine, this live broadcast-virtual conference brings together the U.S. industry’s leading experts and innovators to discuss the latest and most pressing issues in solar and storage sector in the USA.

Day 1 – Tuesday, October 28

UNLOCKING CAPITAL

Solar is maturing and so are its financing mechanisms such as transferability, tax equity, power purchase agreements. Day One panelists will discuss increasing bankability by cutting risk, building resilience and ensuring quality as developers seek to unlock capital in a challenging market.

Day 2 – Wednesday, October 29

NAVIGATING THE DOMESTIC SUPPLY CHAIN

U.S. solar manufacturing is rapidly expanding to meet the unprecedented demand for domestic content. Module manufacturing alone is up over 600% since the implementation of the production tax credits. In this session on Day 2, panelists will offer expert insight into the current state of domestic production and discuss rounding out the supply chain, warehousing challenges, building resilience through torrents of tariffs, quality control, and more.

Day 3 – Thursday, October 30

DISTRIBUTED ENERGY AS A SOLUTION

Distributed energy, including rooftop solar and energy storage, offers many solutions to myriad problems. It offers resilience from power outages and extreme weather. It offers ratepayers clarity on electricity costs for the next 25+ years. It can also be built quickly, avoiding issues with interconnection queues. Panelists on Day 3 will explore how distributed energy is overcoming these challenges with innovative solutions.
