Energy saving business models for residential solar

Balcony solar kits, now widely available across Germany and other regions, present an easy way for residents, particularly those in apartment buildings or without a rooftop suitable for solar PV, to take advantage of dynamic energy tariffs and boost their savings.

Adding a battery to a balcony solar kit can amplify many of those benefits. Anker Solix calculates that its battery and optimizer solution can save customers an additional 15% on their energy bill, compared to self-consumption from balcony solar alone. In this webinar we’ll take a look at how it achieves this, through hardware that enables independent charging and discharging, and software leveraging data from suppliers and power exchanges, as well as weather data and use profiles, to forecast prices optimize energy consumption.

Aaron James Darvill, senior sales manger with Anker Solix will take us through the many features of the X1 and Solarbank, and how they are already helping customers save on their energy bills.
