Testing data from Kiwa PVEL highlights how variations in bills of materials lead to significant performance gaps between solar products.
In this webinar, we will identify major differences in module performance. Kiwa PVEL evaluates hundreds of distinct bills of materials through a laboratory suite known as the Product Qualification Program. Data from the 2026 PV Module Reliability Scorecard provides a technical basis for smart procurement decisions and technology selection.
The session will focus on the most prevalent causes of module failure, including breakage, delamination, and Ultraviolet-Induced Degradation. Participants will review current performance trends across different technologies to identify industry-wide shifts. Analyzing these results provides specific advantages for project stakeholders who need to manage energy yield and long-term value.
A segment of the discussion provides an overview of Top Performer manufacturers and models based on recent laboratory findings. Practical guidance will show how to integrate independent test data into a broader procurement strategy.
