Advanced Solar Photonics announces expansion of solar module manufacturing plant to 60 MW

Share

The company has said it plans production of 20 MW of panels (230 Watts) in the second half of this year, and 60 MW per year thereafter, which, it says, would make it one of the top ten solar photovoltaics (PV) panel manufacturers in the U.S.

In order to meet the growing demand for high efficiency mono-crystalline solar modules, ASP recently acquired large scale manufacturing production equipment allowing for the complete panel manufacturing process including cell inspection, tabbing, stringing, setting, lamination, simulation, trimming, and framing.
