Meyer Burger secures large wire saw order

Meyer Burger Technology Ltd has signed a supply contract worth CHF 160 million (around USD$169 million; €123 million) with an unnamed, existing customer in Asia.

Under the contract, Meyer Burger group member MB Wafertec will deliver slurry based wire saws throughout this year. According to the company, the Asian customer is planning a further increase in production.
