Semilab acquires Tordivel Solar

Hungarian metrology company, Semilab, has taken over Tordivel Solar for an undisclosed amount of cash.

Under the acquisition, all of Tordivel’s employees will reportedly be kept on by Semilab. The company, based in Norway, supplies PV inline and offline inspection and measurement systems.
“This acquisition strengthens our product offering in incoming substrate and PV process metrology and inspection,” commented Tibor Pavelka President and CEO of Semilab.
In another deal last year, the company bought Basler micro-crack inspections systems.
