Slow market

Lead times: The oversupply in the European photovoltaics markets has increased even further. Anxiety is spreading among manufacturers and distributors, as there is little visibility on when market demand will resume.

The reported oversupply in the European markets increased to 18.6 percent in February, compared to 10.9 percent in January. Average weeks of inventory increased significantly to 6.3 weeks from 4.4 weeks in January. This is the highest level since Renewable Analytics began tracking inventory developments in 2009.
