Stein Automation has focused on its own specially developed SoftMove co-current flow drive technology, which is only switched on when required and can be controlled with a high level of precision, thereby providing a rapid means of transportation that is gentle, yet consistent.
With the WTS solution, it is possible to transport glass plates, laminated or framed module components either continuously or on demand strictly from one station to another.
This continuous switching on and off of the drive enables up to 90 percent energy savings. The company calls this the innovative material flow made in Black Forest.
