Statcon Energiaa has introduced the Energiaa-X Series single-phase grid-tie inverter with power ratings of 3 kW and 5 kW.

The company said that key applications of the 3 kW inverter include residences, small clinics, gyms, small offices and shops. The inverters come with built-in maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technology.

The new products’ key features include a low current distortion factor, advanced MPPT for higher solar generation, wide-range PV voltage support, advanced phase-locked loop for seamless grid-interactive mode, remote monitoring with WiFi, transformerless technology, earth fault protection, easy plug-and-play installation, grid and PV side lightning arrestor, as well as robust anti-islanding feature.

The 3 kW inverter can handle a maximum 450 V DC input voltage from the solar panels. The maximum recommended PV input power is 3.3 kW. The MPPT voltage range, or the voltage range over which the solar inverter can extract the maximum power from the solar panels, is 100-450 V.

The maximum output current of the 3 kW inverter is 13 A. The total harmonic distortion of the inverter output is less than 3%. The inverter has a maximum efficiency of 97.5%. It measures 282 mm x 317 mm x 190 mm and weighs 7.45 kg. The operating temperature range is -25 C to 55 C.
