As vice president and general manager of the advanced steel frames business at Nextpower, Jenya Meydbray leads go-to-market strategy, sales execution, and growth initiatives in emerging markets.

Prior to joining Nextpower, Jenya served as chief commercial officer at Nevados. He co-founded PV Evolution Labs (PVEL) in 2010 and served as chief executive officer for more than a decade. During his tenure, he developed the first extended reliability and performance test protocols for the downstream PV industry and pioneered innovative methodologies for evaluating PV performance at the power plant level to support risk assessment and mitigation.

Earlier in his career, Jenya was senior quality and reliability engineer at SunPower, where he designed accelerated test methods for high-efficiency solar cells and modules. He began his professional career at NASA Ames Research Center’s hyper-gravity facilities and also served as vice president of technology at Cypress Creek Renewables, a utility-scale solar project developer. Jenya earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
