Warsaw, Poland | January 2026 – At Solar Energy Expo Warsaw 2026, energy storage manufacturer AlphaESS presented its latest energy storage portfolio covering residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and Utility-Scale, including the first offline European appearance of its new large C&I liquid-cooling systems, Aster TB250/TB500 and STORION-LC 836.

The showcase comes as utilities, private power companies and industrial users in Poland increasingly move from planning to execution of energy storage projects, driven by policy support, grid constraints and rising electricity price volatility.

Two new large C&I systems addressing real industrial and commercial and grid-side needs

At the exhibition, AlphaESS introduced two new liquid-cooled systems designed specifically for high-load, high-utilisation environments.

AlphaESS highlighted Aster TB250/TB500, an 400V/800V liquid-cooled battery energy storage system rated at 250–500 kW with energy capacities from 705 to 1,410 kWh, packaged in a 20-foot container for deployment at large factories and PV power plants.

AlphaESS also presented STORION-LC 836, a liquid-cooled outdoor cabinet energy storage system designed for commercial and industrial applications. With a single-unit capacity of 836 kWh, the system supports parallel operation of up to 8 cabinets to 1 DC input, enabling MWh-scale deployment for C&I and even large-scale storage projects. projects. Its cabinet-based architecture and flexible transport approach simplify logistics and support phased installation and scalable project development across a wide range of sites.

Both systems are engineered with simplified installation, grid compatibility and long-term operation in mind, and incorporate UL 9540A-compliant, multi-layer fire protection and electrical safety designs to reduce complexity, downtime and operational risk.

Full portfolio on display: from households to grid-side projects

In addition to the new large C&I systems, AlphaESS showcased products already deployed across different market segments.

  • Residential – SMILE-G3 series
Modular residential storage systems expandable up to 111.6 kWh, designed for households combining PV and storage under Poland’s Mój Prąd programme. The systems support higher self-consumption, backup power and improved energy independence for residential users.
  • Commercial and industrial – STORION-H30/H50-G3 and STORION TB125
STORION-H30/H50-G3 are compact 30 kW and 50 kW Hybrid C&I storage systems, scalable in parallel up to 500 kW and 2.4 MWh, designed for behind-the-meter applications at small commercial and light industrial sites.
STORION TB125 is a 125 kW / 261 kWh AC-coupled C&I system that supports parallel operation of up to 50 units, enabling scalable deployment for larger commercial and industrial projects requiring flexible capacity expansion.
  • Utility-Scale – Aster 5000
Aster 5000 is a 5 MWh containerised energy storage system housed in a 20-foot container, developed for frequency regulation, peak support and large-scale renewable integration in grid-connected applications.

This portfolio positions AlphaESS to support both behind-the-meter projects at industrial sites and grid-side projects led by utilities and power companies.

Poland’s policy environment supports storage investment

Poland is expanding policy support for energy storage across residential, C&I and grid-connected segments. The Mój Prąd programme continues to subsidise PV-plus-storage installations for households, while for larger projects, policy mechanisms increasingly support MW/MWh-scale storage through CAPEX grants, preferential financing and access to balancing and ancillary services markets.

320MWh project order in Czech Republic underlines market traction

AlphaESS confirmed that it has secured 320MWh, the largest standalone energy storage project order in Czechia. The project is scheduled for delivery within the next two months, and the contract award demonstrates market confidence in the company’s system design approach and project execution framework.

From exhibition to project development

Following the Warsaw exhibition, AlphaESS stated that its priority is to support feasibility studies, technical assessments and early-stage project development with utilities, developers and industrial asset owners across Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.
